This year for Davis’s birthday we decided to get him an experience rather than give him an actual present. We got tickets to Lego Fest Nashville and made it an entire weekend of fun! Friday we spent some time at Opry Mills with some friends who went to the Lego fest Friday afternoon. We rode the carousal, because who can pass that up, played at the Lego store, because we LOVE Legos and ate at rainforest café!
Saturday morning the kids were ready to go to Lego fest. Davis didn’t understand why we had to wait in line to get in, he thought waiting was a drag! It was but it was well worth it!
There were so many Lego creations….the kids ohhh and ahhh over every one of them!
D loved swimming in the Legos!
Like brother like sister!
Davis built and built until his heart was lego’d out!
There was also an inflatable that we had to try out!!
We even got our picture on a Lego magazine!
Emerson made an E for the wall of fame!
We spent lots of time with all the pink and purple Legos!
Davis was so brave and did a Lego challenge with a group of kiddos. They had to build a pizza out of Legos and serve it to master splinter! HA! He won Legos for doing such an awesome job!
Emmy loved building so much she DOVE in! HA!
This exhibit was a family favorite. You built your own race car then raced it against other racers!
Whew, after Lego fest, lunch and another stop at Opry Mills we took naps in the hotel…love some sleeping pictures!
Then we met up with two of my college suite mates! IT was so nice getting to catch up and let our kiddos play together! I miss these girls so much!
Trying to recreate our FHU postcard, with our beauties!
All of our kiddos!
What a fun filled weekend! We made so many memories and had such a great time, love weekends like this one!
