Walker worked at the Folk Lore festival in Milan on Saturday so Davis not only helped him but enjoyed walking around and touring it with Emerson and myself. The kids had a great time and their favorite was a toss up between the corn and the goats!
Playing in troughs of corn..oh what fun!
Next up, the goats! They were for sale and D being my reading buddy now said, “Mom I would like to buy one! I have 14 dollars at home, I’ll pay you back!” No way I thought but softly suggested goats needed to live on a farm not in a neighborhood! HA!
The goats could not get enough of Emmy's hair and hair bows! They will eat anything!
Trying their best to get me to change my mind about buying one!
Emmy got very brave and decided to milk a goat…well rounded three year old, I’d say!
Next we found this little hay man and we decided we must need a picture with him.
Next, we rode a horse drawn wagon. We rode through a cotton field and talked about how long it would take to get places if we didn’t have a car!
D could not pass this up, he needed a picture with it!
Next we picked cotton…such a fun experience.
They were amused with the entire process..
Emerson kept asking if she could pick it all…go ahead baby girl!
D studying to cotton, we even got to bring some home with us.
Picking ALL the cotton…
We found a neat little fall décor section and mommy insisted it was picture time…thankful they understand how much mommy loves pictures!
And last we rode a tractor that explained many things that happened at the Ag center. The kids enjoyed the ride and the tractor not so much the information…oh well!
