Tuesday's Tales

Today Davis and I went to work, but after earning our keep we came home and played outside a bit. It was a bit chilly so Davis wore his hat from last year, can you tell? He loves walking to our neighbors who have blowups for Halloween. I will cherish memories like this... Some videos for Daddy...

Monday

Davis and I ventured out to the library today and boy did we have fun. He had lots of fun picking out books and "reading them." He even met some friends who loved reading to him as well. You don't meet a stranger when Davis is with you.
Davis was super in to Elmo today and I couldn't help taking pics of him. He hardly even noticed when I was taking his pic.

Playdough

SO I am such a silly mommy, I love getting new exciting things to expose Davis to. Today it was playdough and one hour later I knew I had made a good choice. We made snakes, pizza, cookies, breadsticks, and cut until our hearts were content! Oh what fun! At first he wasn't sure of it, but by the end he was loving him some playdough. Here are some videos of our playdough fun and what turned into Davis blowing pretend bubbles- I tell you that boy has some imagination already!!

Yard Fun!

Walker is such an amazing father and husband and I don't brag on him near enough. He spent the day with him on friday and I must say he did something right, because Davis slept almost 4 hours for his afternoon nap! He woke up in the best mood and we spent the afternoon togather as a family. One of my favorite memories from friday was wrestling on the front lawn. We didn't worry about getting dirty and just had fun. I am including tons of pics, but I absolutely could not pick which ones to use.

I couldn't stand not getting my pic made with D so Daddy snapped some shots of us having some fun as well. Isn't he a stud?? Never knew I could love somebody so much! Check out that belly!!

It's funny the greatest memories end up being the most unplanned activities, atleast at our house!

pee pee in the potty

(sorry no pics-didn't want d to hate me forever!!)So Davis went to his 18 month old check up yesterday and what a big boy he is. He was 32 1/2 inches long and 27.7 lbs. He is staying on his steady curve and growing perfectly, the md said. She mentioned at 18 months it is good to introduce a potty and just let them play/get used to it. Walker and I were so surpised, but we headed to Target and let D pick out his potty seat. We got home and took it out of the box and D wanted to try it out. Davis sat on his potty and of course he wanted daddy to sit on his potty so there we sat and listened to Daddy potty and we couldn't believe it but Davis' potty started singing (if you pee on his potty the sensors go off and sing a song). We praised Davis and he was so proud of himself. He immediatley had to check out his pee and wanted to touch it. Haha. Is is beginners luck or do we just have a smart boy?? Daddy and I pcik the second one!
I was using the bathroom this morning and D grabbed his daddy's hand let him upstairs to his potty and went pee pee again! I tell you what I love this kid, he NEVER ceases to amaze me!
