sickness, sickness go away!

Davis has been very unlucky with the sickness bug lately. He had a ear

infection first and the very next week he got a fever/throat virus. I looked in his mouth on the way to TN and he now has his bottom canine teeth coming in. Poor guy can't catch a break. My point is that I as well as his daddy are ready for the boy to get a couple weeks without anything getting him down. He has been doing ALOT of this lately, which isn't so bad, but terribly sad!

Oh I am so excited about Shutterfly's free 50 card giveaway to all. It is one less think that I have to buy this holiday season. Being a stay at home mom is a BEAUTIFUL thing, but sometimes money is tight and this giveaway is gonna be great! I can't wait to show off my family to all my friends and family via a Christmas card. Davis is always giving us the best smiles and hopefully mommy and daddy will cooperate too and we can get a great family picture to suite me! House Arrest

Davis has had a NASTY virus since Friday and we have been stuck in the house all weekend. THis is a product of all that time-our first Movie with DAvis. When he had a high fever he just wanted to lay around and we decided to show him some good ole disney movies! We watched CARS and The Fox and the Hound. He loved them! His fever would wear off and then he would be ready to play so we would stop the movie and begin it again when his fever would come back. POor Guy! He has had a rough go for the past two weeks, with an ear infection and now this virus but he sure has been a terrific boy. He has loved all the extra attention and he especially enjoyed sleeping with daddy. He now says "dadda bed" when it is time to go to sleep. It is so true the old saying give them an inch and they will take a mile! Oh well, hopefully he gets better really soon and is able to say Gobble Gobble with the rest of us on Thursday!

Bass Pro with Santa

I think we will make many more trips to see Santa since it isn't even Thanksgiving yet, but this one was our first this year. Even with much preparation: reading the night before Christmas, Elf on the shelf, discussing what we want for Christmas and describing Santa Davis still HATED him! He cried and held on to me so tightly that we stayed in the picture with him! (I will post it later!) Here is where we waited for Santa, all was still well with Davis!

And of course we had to try our hands out at the craft table. Davis made his first ornament!









Even though Davis should have been starving, he rufused to leave until he rode in all the boats he could see! What a boy!

i'm singing in the rain

D and I have had a great day so far and we decided to make it even better by playing in the rain. WE got our boots on, which Davis put on all by himself, and our jackets/hats on and we were off to make a major SPLASH! WE had such a great time being silly and taking some quick photos, but it got cold and we headed in pretty quickly! Love those silly moments with my boy. Without getting to mushy/emotional seems like lately my family has been doing lots of singing in the rain. We are ready for the storms to pass Lord, but as we go through them we are trying to "sing" in the rain! Continue to keep us in your prayers!

all about kids "davis and libby" part 2

It was a rainy yucky tuesday and Mallory, Libby, Davis and I decided to head to AAK. They had so much fun meeting new friends, playing togather and jumping, bouncing and being silly. We made it to open gym today (this is where they let the kiddos play in all of the gym) and we had a blast. I took tons of video (hoping it will download) and lots of pics, they were too cute! These pics are of them listening to the rules, and running to thier first adventure! Davis loved everything about open gym, especially the ability to run freely! He was really good at the balance beam! Pictures are just too cute! I do not have any more words to describe the fun they had-can't wait till our next visit!
