Remember...

things are beginning to settle down at lariat rd and i was thinking back on our vacation and one of my fondest memories i failed to narrate was entertaining/getting d to sleep in the car. he is a babywise baby so he puts himself to sleep on his own when we are at home/a place with a bed, but when bedtime is in the car, that changes things. he loves music and we found that to get him to calm down and drift to sleep we needed to sing. it was such a refreshing time to spend with our god in song. we sang many, MANY songs to get him to sleep and he especially loves praise songs, again another way my little one humbles me. so we sang and we sang and we sang some more. not many times in our everyday life do walker and i take to sing praises to our god and it is just a sweet memory that i will never forget. as d would drift to sleep walker and i would look at one another and smile. one of those smiles that changes your whole day! love remembering sweet sweet memories!
