We began our Sunday bright and early, about 5:30 our time, to be exact and had to make the first picture of the day with the dads in the group….HAPPY FATHERS DAY! We headed straight to animal king to begin our magical adventure.
We started on Kilimanjaro safari. The kids loved seeing all the animals and riding in the big jeep!
After the safari we took a tour of different birds, monkeys and fish…
This was so cool! They had a six year old monkeys hand prints and look and Davis’ in comparison. He is six as well!
Then we headed to our breakfast at Tusker house. There we met several characters from the night before in their safari gear along with daisy. The food was a delicious breakfast buffet and the kids especially enjoyed the donut holes.

After breakfast we headed to the Lion King show, which both kiddos loved! It is one of Davis’ favorite movies so he really got into the music and characters. He was just a little sad he wasn’t picked as a volunteer! HA!
Then we rode expedition Everest, watched it’s tough to be a bug (picture below),
neither of the kids liked this show, they both felt it was too scary! We also watched finding nemo and rode Kali river rapids where mainly only Emerson got drenched! All in all we liked animal kingdom, but it was not our favorite for sure. Walker kept calling it a glorified zoo!
