After a tough week and D getting the day off we decided to have a family retreat in Memphis. We were met with this lizard and Emmy could not get enough of her!
D just wanted to get in the water for a picture….
We headed straight to cat country and Emmy insisted on having her picture made with this statue…HA!

The zoo is one of their favorite exhibits…
Emmy really wanted to see all the fish in the aquarium despite D saying he didn’t want to go! Sibling fun!
They both found interesting fish they were enamored with, it helped we were the only ones in the aquarium. The zoo was practically empty on this gorgeous day so we were excited to be there!
The bird show has become one of their favorites as well…
With practically no one there D was chosen to help feed a bird for a trick…
he was so proud of himself.
WE could not stop watching and ducking, those bird fly so low!
Emmy and D had to donate money so they could get close to the birds again!
Going to china and seeing Buddha is one of Emmy's favorites as well…bless!
Next we ate at a fun restaurant that we all enjoyed, café eclectic and then wondered around the bass pro shop..what a neat fun adventure!
Emmy found a HUGE mirror and was taken by her dance moves…
Grateful for days like this spent with our little family. Life sure is full of blessings!
