We made it through the FIRST full week of school

Monday Davis was so excited…He had HOMEWORK! He had until Friday to complete it, he on the other hand could not wait so we finished it Monday! HA! He is so my boy! Non procrastinator! Emmy decided she needed some homework too, so she highlighted letters.

Tuesday is gymnastics day and boy was my girl excited to flip, and jump and get a sucker! In her excitement she had to read the Bible while she waited to leave!

Tuesday night was BIG for Davis because he became a white belt in karate, something he has wanted to do for awhile, but it takes us being there and hard work to achieve something like a belt! He was so excited he could not stop smiling and he was so glad his preschool buddy Trevor was there!  

Emmy is my gym buddy and on this particular day she told me this was the way to exercise!

We ate lunch with Davis on Thursday and he was SO excited to show his sister off to all of his friends!

We got a nail in our tire on Thursday afternoon and the kids enjoyed watching the men at work! Big thanks to our buddy Jim Belue for always being ready to take care of us!

I thank God for these two constantly and am so proud they love Jesus, this is them walking in Sunday so excited for Bible Class!

Emmy sure loves getting cookies from McAllister's! She saves a little for later, most times!

Weekend Recap

After a LONG week of school we enjoyed a weekend together! Davis did so well in school this week and he has already learned so much. Mrs. Penny is a PERFECT fit for him (prayer is a powerful thing)! I pray for her and her sweet students everyday! Davis was very proud to show me on Thursday that he was the first to pink! The BEST behavior you can have in class. Friday it just took him awhile to figure out why he wasn’t the best again! Ha! Sweet boy wants and strives to be perfect every day! WE learned a lesson in humility, and why it’s ok to be on purple and green too!

When we get home this is what these two usually look like…do you think they have missed each other?

Friday night we celebrated his and Jack’s first week of Kindergarten with a mother son date to the movies. D also spent the night with his buddy too! He is SO BIG!

Saturday morning this princess had her daddy all to her self (mommy was working and Davis was at Jack’s) so, I think they had a little fun together!!!

Saturday night daddy judged a wing contest with some of the guys so we made our own pizza’s….they were both so proud! They had a restaurant and had it named by the end of the night. We will be open SOON! HA!

Sunday on the way home these two were a little excited…We saw Mrs. Penny (Davis’ kindergarten teacher) at lunch so we made silly faces all the way home! Davis was pumped Mrs. Penny loves our favorite Sunday lunch restaurant! HA!

Sunday night we lost power in the middle of me cooking supper, so we made the best of it and watched the storm/hail and ate with a lego light dinner!

Hope all of our weekends are this rich in memories! We are so blessed to have such sweet babies and wonderful friends and family!

Emmy time

Davis going to school, better known as Emmy time, has begun and is in full force. Our days are consume with everything from gymnastics, the gym, play dough, chuckie cheese, babies, reading books, basically anything Emmy can come up with we do!

Davis was off school this particular day so we ended up at chuckie cheese!

Playing play dough is never dull with this chick! She can make clothes for her princesses, make food and pretty much anything you name!

Always styling in the car, she loves her glasses!
