Despite Davis’ efforts to get us to turn and around and go back home only two hours into our seven hour journey we had a great quick weekend. Davis did wonderful in the car and we made it to and from our destination safely! We did have many FUN things to keep us busy in the car…stickers, movies, pens to write on our legs with, books, magnets, a potty (so we could just keep on driving!!), and juice and snacks! What do you think….did he have FUN or what?
Branson was beautiful, I just wish we could have stayed longer. There was so much to do and so little time to do it in. We spent several hours touring the Huge Bass Pro in Springfield…
did you notice Davis especially happy in the picture with lala? She had to buy him a truck (she misunderstood something he said and told him there were new trucks for him in a bag, but there wasn’t!!) and he was so excited he picked out one that was 49.99! IT took several minutes but we convinced him the 9.99 was much better and he would love it! The rest of our time there he guarded it and wouldn’t let it out of his site for fear someone might try and put it away. I am not sure where he got that, because I am always very clear about either buying a truck or just playing with them while we shop.
The rehearsal dinner was very sweet and quaint. We ate some delicious food and heard some hilarious stories about both Josh and Kindall! We also had lots of great photo opportunities. This place was beautiful! I couldn’t resist even though D was more into the fountain, animals and other crazy beautiful things surrounding us. I think I got some cute ones though!
The wedding was perfect and the weather was very complimentary of their special day! Here are some of my favorite wedding shots! I do not claim to have good photo skills but it was really hard to take a bad picture in this place…BEAUTIFUL!!! I cannot wait to see some of Seth and Julies pictures from the day!
And I just had to take some of my special little man… like I said this place was so BEAUTIFUL! He made some VERY special buddies there too! Hope and Dray were his little partners in crime! They loved the sunflowers they used as decoration and really enjoyed the wagon! Davis also enjoyed going in the big fishs mouth! He kept telling us he was Jonah and the fish was gonna spit him out! It was great to be a part of Josh and Kindall’s special day and we wish them a very happy marriage!
